This group is intended to organize adventure-style motorcycle rides all long the Central Coast (Monterey to Santa Barbara). The types of bikes associated with these rides would be dual sport street-legal motorcycles (usually 650cc or above). The bikes should be capable of sustained freeway speeds as well as moderate dirt/gravel/mud/sandy roads. Keep in mind that safety is always top priority! This is actually a one day event. Our goal is to clean up an area near Los Padres National Forest. This area will become part of a new preserve. We will be removing barb wire fence and other rancho detritus. Fence removal is important for the movement of wildlife, the safety of visitors, and the promotion of a natural ideal. This event will take place June 4th 9am to 2pm. I need at least 10 people to RSVP. Please bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. Lunch will be provided.
